POW Table Lamp
This was the first project I ever took up and it was to create a table lamp, inspired by the retro design movement. This project was much more based around the creation of the final product rather than just the concept.
Modeling/Prototypeing stage
I created numerous models for this project as I would eventualy laser cut the final version out of acrylic. To save costs by not wasting acrylic, I made exact copies from cardboard until i was happy to advance to the final manufacturing stage, and make it out of acrylic.
Manufacturing/Assembling
Once the components were created i began assembling the final product. looking back there are aspects that I would change about how I manufactured it and how it was assembled, however, I did achieve the desired final outcome and even after having to make changes to the electronics fairly rapidly, I was happy with the final outcome.
